  • What are the weekly workshops?

    Workshops are live zoom calls that start with a 90 day grant readiness intensive and end with 9 consecutive months of grant writing coaching and support. For the grant readiness intensive, the workshop structure will be organized into weekly classes. By the end of the 90 day grant readiness intensive, you should have a 30-40 page business plan that can be used to write a grant proposal, apply for sponsorships, or submit to a grant writer for grant opportunities. You and your cohort (everyone who started with you) will move through the program together with the ultimate goal of structuring your organization’s foundation, and achieving grant readiness, financial stability through multiple sources of funding, and impactful programs. It will include hand-holding, homework, quizzes, and group participation. We will record workshops for replay and you do not need to have 501(c)3 determination letter in order to participate. We will also train you on ways for you to achieve funding without your 501(c)3. In addition to our weekly workshops, we include 35 hours of self-paced video content.   • What is the cost?

    Our fee to enroll is $222/month for 9 months for the premium bundle or $99/month for 12 months for the introductory bundle. The premium bundle includes some "done-for-you" services such as a custom grant proposal that can be re-used to apply to multiple grant opportunities, a letter of interest, budget, 1 years' worth of grant research, and 3 hours allotted to 1:1 grant walkthroughs or grant reviews prior to submission. This is ideal for the Founder who is wearing many hats and needs an extra hand to expedite the grant writing process. The introductory bundle is ideal for Founders who have a tight budget but a little more time on their hands.   • Do I need to have my 501(c)3?

    No, you do not need to have tax exempt status. If you do not have your 501(c)3 we will walk you through fiscal sponsorship, which is connecting you with a larger organization in order to be eligible for larger amounts of funding. We also include a self-paced course that walks you through the process or discounted filing services available for those who need assistance filing their paperwork.

  • What if I want someone to do all of this for me?

    We offer coaching to all of our members, however you can also hire our coach for services such as business plan writing, program design, grant writing, and more directly in the Academy or by emailing [email protected].

  • What makes this program unique?

    We are able to mentor our members throughout the startup AND funding phase. Unlike our public communities, our private community's monthly fee allows us to maintain our highly qualifed staff and offer quality resources and coaching, while still being able to ensure everyone has access to the resources they need in order to "do good things" in their community. We also give our members access to a 24 hour members-only community, where any question they have can typically be answered by an industry expert within a few minutes.
